Warm Cookies & Grief Stories

Every Wednesday starting September 2nd - October 7th (insurance accepted)

The Intention of This Group

How often do you hide your grief? How often do you feel the need to hold it alone? This group aims to work with the parts of ourselves that feel we need to hold the weight of the world on our shoulders, and instead, show the power and love that comes when we all hold it together.

What is weighing heavily on your heart? A recent loss of a loved one? A dream job that is no longer attainable? A divorce? An illness for yourself or a loved one? Grief for the losses of the world? The wars, the deforestation, the loss of habitat? It’s all welcome here.

I’m here to tell you, you do not have to hold this weight alone. In fact, I would, along with so many others, love to hold it with you.

There’s a certain magic that happens when we show up authentically and vulnerably. What you will quickly realize within this group is that whenever someone shares the weight they’re holding on their heart, it’s medicine for the rest of the group.

About Me & This Container

I first stumbled upon the immense power of connecting to one’s grief in the Spring of 2023, attending my first four-day workshop on holding space for the depths of Grief. This thrust me into my own journey of relating to Grief.

Little did I know that this new way of relating to Grief was preparing me for the unimaginable, the sudden passing of my Mom.

For the year following my Mom’s death, I considered myself in an apprenticeship with grief. Drawing from the teachings of Sobonfu & Malidoma Somé, Francis Weller, and Joanna Macy, I view grief as sacred.

When we connect to our grief, we connect to our love. Through our work together, I will help you feel safe enough to return to your heart and feel the immensity of your love for this world and its inhabitants.
