Holistic Therapy & Community Groups

Individual therapy, grief tending, and men's work designed to help you tap back into your heart to find safety in your depths and connection with your true being.

I walk alongside you, holding the immensity of the human experience

I’ve worn many hats over the years: community organizer, group facilitator, grief tender, men’s work facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and now therapist.

Some of my most meaningful breakthroughs have happened in containers where I was held in the full range of what I was experiencing. That wasn’t always easy. Blocks, insecurities, shame, emotional masking, and fear of being seen were all present. What I came to understand is that I didn’t need to get rid of these parts of myself to connect more deeply. I needed to let them be seen, held, and expressed.

My aim is to guide people back into their hearts to feel the safety of their depths, creating an opportunity to come out whole once more, feeling the immensity of their love, in connection with their true being.

About Heart Of the Turtle

The Name “Heart of the Turtle ” came about soon after the sudden passing of my Mom. For one, her favorite animal was a Turtle. But the Turtle also symbolized what was needed in order to fully be with this grief: slowness, patience, and allowance. That’s the type of presence I bring to my sessions and groups. An allowance to be with what is, finding safety in our emotions, in order to feel the full range of what it means to be alive.

As a society, we’ve been fed to fear the descent. We’re scared of things getting worse, losing control, or losing the people we love. Even in therapy and psychology, there is an emphasis on improving life, as if it’s a linear path. True healing reminds us that it’s OK to be not okay. What if it’s okay that life is sometimes really hard, and you can’t predict it? When we allow ourselves to feel, we create space for life. By creating space for the full spectrum of life, we allow ourselves to move from numbness to aliveness. Suddenly, the wind and sun on our skin feel deeper, our capacity to feel expands, and our relationships shift into a space of genuine connection and ease. I’m here to tell you you’re perfect as you are, and will create space for you to begin to feel, see, and experience your own inner beauty.
